Ken Films's 200ft b/w sound digest of TITANIC
Well is is just en editd down version of the 400ft digest but with an extra scene added, the 200ft focuses more of the non fiction part of the story and it is because of this that we are treated to the extra scene on Titanic's bridge as there is a talk of the looming ice ahead, the sinking part of the film is well cut down to just some brief shots of the liner (model in tank) as it goes down head first.
The print quality is not to bad, almost over exposed is several scenes and there is alot of dirt and scratches on a number of outdoor scenes (must be the master material used)
Sound is very good, one could fit about another 5 minutes on the 200ft reel so if I had my way the film would of contained a bit more of the sinking scenes, but part from that a nice wee digest.
Box art is a smaller version of the 400ft box art.

For me, the 400ft Ken version is well-edited but like the 200ft version ... had room to add more scenes. The downside is the print quality...very poor ... like a dupe of a dupe. Very contrasty and a 'Big Time' disappointment. You think a studio could have provided a better print.
