Can someone tell me the diffence betwwen an Elmo CL Xenon and a Elmo CL AV Xenon.Is it that one is a slot load and the other automatic.Thanks

Bob, perhaps there's a slight confusion, here. "CL" means "Channel Load", as in slot loading. Elmo, among other products, had the 16CL range (available in optical or mag+optical - both in halogen version, plus a xenon version) and the AL range as in "Automatic Load".
The two models mentionned in your post could be the same CL Xenon units, except that the "AV" one could have a different shutter for telecine.

Thanks Jean Marc.I was looking at one on Ebay and the picture of it shows CL-AV Xenon.The seller doesn't mention telecine.

Hi Bob --

I've got one of those "AV" machines --- as far as I can tell the difference is only the fact that it has some extra remote control features -- (but you need the remote control for them). Otherwise, it's exactly the same as a regular 16-CL Xenon...
