On my Bell & Howell 644 machine there is a wire that puzzles me.At the top of the machine just below the handle is a black wire, it is clamped on a metal tag that is on one of the screws holding on a black box with Magnetic Devices Newmarket ref 311/59947 written on it,the wire ends there and is not connected to anything, is there something missing? it is a fine screened wire and the screening is soldered to the inner, the other end joins to a sliding unit (magnetic sound?) on the right of the optical lamp. This projector is a 644/007 serial no.c2125.if this helps.
