Hello I have an Elf RM HQ 16mm projector, works like a dream and very easy to change the belts etc, but, heres the question: With 16mm projectors when you put up the arms they 'lock' into place, to lower the arms you have to press the chrome button in that disengages the lock position and the arm can be put down, Now my feed arm button is pushed in, and does'nt pop out when the arm is in place, had a look inside and its two small philips screws holding it...I can't see any 'broken' issues with the actual internals of the feed arm...so advice please?? Cheers

Hi Mark. Very common with Elfs and also a very minor fault which is simples to fix.
I lay the projector on its back and carefully squirt a little WD40 into each of the two chrome push buttons. When you do this just push in the buttons a little with a screwdriver so the WD40 can build up a bit in the hole left and leave the machine on its back overnight. The next morning stand upright and push the button in and out several times and you should now have nice fluid movement again with a clean click in and out when moving the two spool arms.
Happy days! [Cool]
