Getting into 16mm.

woot woooooot I'm sorry Greg [Razz] Try to control yourself. There is a lot more 16mm to pick from than 8mm/S8mm.

You may try to contact Tom Wills in your area. I'm not sure if he is selling right now, but he is close enough to give you lots of pointers first hand. http://www.earlybirdfilms.com/

Hey Wayne! Thanks, and I know more product is on 16 than 8. The monster lurks! LOL I have exchanged some emails with Tom, last year. I have him on my outdoor showings list. He and his wife had a baby last year, so time is more limited. I'm sure he'll like to hear about my decision to expand.

Welcome to the gang, Greg.
Abandon all hope and be prepared to sell your wife and children if you have to.

Do you know Michael,if we had a coat of arms, that would be the
motto I would inscribe on it,kind of sums the hobby up.
Excellent!

What do you have in the way of a 16mm projector?

Nice projector. Be sure to check the rollers. The rubber onthem turns to goo with age.

Getting it from Dan Lail in Georgia. Sounded like it is in good shape, but will give it the go-over.

Hi Greg,
looks like we're in the same position: I just bought a 16mm projector (Bauer P6 Automatic) and now I'm about to discover tons and tons of films I want to buy. Aaaargh!!
I surely must slow down: Just placed a pretty high bid on a print ("The Organizer" with Marcello Mastroianni); then, after bidding I discovered it was declared to be only in "good condition" (the hint was hidden, so I didn't see it the first time).
Ah well, we live and learn (and pay!)...
