A few days back I procured a Bell and Howell 1655 16mm film projector, it was not in running condition so I completely opened all parts along with electric wiring and after cleaning again assembled it. Now mechanically its ok and moving fine but electrically nothing is moving and no main and exciter lamp is getting on, the only thing which moves is its blower fan and the sound system rest everything is silent. I downloaded the manual of the projector and study it. As regard to circuit diagram I was unable to understand it as I am almost zero on electronics language. However I chased the wiring diagram, every wire is as per the manual except one component is missing which is named as per diagram “Socket Servo amp”. It (male pins) is not present in the projector but female socket is just hanging with wires. I checked for some electric shop for this component but nothing was available and then checked the mechanic for repair of projector but found not a single one within my city.
Can someone please help me in this regard?
How to check the wiring of the projector to know which component is faulty…
What is the voltage value of the motor of the projector?
What is function of this Socket Servo amp?
What substitute component can be used as this part of the projector is almost impossible to purchase from my city?
I cannot purchase it from the internet as Paypal facility is not available in my country so any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Please guide me what to do?
