I have a Viewlex System 16 model C and it runs beautifully and looks almost new but I've found the f 1.2 50mm lens it came with projects super small because of the limited space between it and my projector. Am I doing something wrong or are there other lenses I'll need that will fit this projector?

I am not familiar with that projector so I don't know what other lens is available for it. However, you are not doing anything wrong. A 50mm lens will project a pretty small image unless you can get at least 15 feet away. Look for a zoom lens attachment or a lens like a 28mm. Smaller mm means larger picture.
