Hi there and sorry if this is a cheeky first post.
I am looking for some advice. I recently bought a large number of film cans, thinking they would be 8mm and ok for my rather old but efficient Super8 projector but they arrived today and are 16mm. One of them is "It's a Wonderful Life", and I am looking at the 3 reels and wondering if anyone here can suggest an economic solution to viewing them. I gave one of my local cinemas which has screening rooms a buzz, but the prices asked were astonishing!
Anyone near Edinburgh who fancies seeing any of them and who has a projector would be wonderful!

Buy a 16mm projector like the Eiki NT series and watch them.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I am hoping there might be a local club near me though, as collecting 16mm films is just not going to work for me with limited storage space. I will pop onto eBay and see how much your recommendation sell for.

John
You could try selling them on this Forum.
What titles have you got? Are they all features? Colour or black & white?

Hi there

They are

It's A Wonderful Life 1946 on 3 reels
The Devil's Disciple 1959, 2 reels
Cast a Dark Shadow 1955, on 2 reels
Counterspy 1953, on 2 reels
and The Quick and the Dead 1995,on 2 reels

They look to be in really good condition but, obviously, I have no way of checking them.

Hi there

I am unsure what I would even ask for it and the moment I am still hoping to have watched them once first. Thank you for inquiring about it.

Hi all
and thanks for the offers for the films. I have had no success finding someone nearby for viewing and so I am sadly selling them unwatched on ebay from this weekend.
Thanks again
