Every now and then (sadly not often enough) you get a 16mm film with amazing colour, clear loud sound and no lines.
Here's my 45 second Droopy lead-in from the 1960's.It only runs for about 45 seconds but it's fun,I have spliced it on the start of a cartoon film "Aboott & Costello" animated TV episode

Here's the last 2 mins of the A & C animated episode I mentioned - still has a nice picture and sound but turned red!

Hi Clinton,
I am no expert on this so I may be wrong, but I think maybe this Droopy lead-in was done by Filmation in the 1980's (?). I had this same one and a few others, and the stock was LPP, IIRC, and the head of the lab leader had Filmation on it. I sold mine a few months back so I cannot check to be sure...
Either way, it has great color and is a nice intro for the A&C cartoon!
Kind Regards,
Greg

Clinton thanks for those links.
We never got to see the Droopy tv shows here in the North
East region of Scotland. So this was interesting to me.
I liked the A& C cartoon clip too.
