Hi Ive just bought an Elmo 16.F projector from an auction site, by the photos the projector is in good shape, the bulb still works and spare reels, is there anything to watch out for about this Elmo . Thanks

Not really.
But I don't like the fact that the lamp has no dim/bright setting.
For my Elmo 16F I have gone to using long-life lamps.

Hi Ive picked up the Elmo projector, it uses halogen bulbs and as i opened up the lamp housing ,there was a spare bulb in its box, the exciter lamp works , still have not found any 16mm movies yet, even came with its instruction booklet ,quite a heavy beast !!

Hi i tested the amp by plugging a mic into the mic socket, was able to here me through the speaker but now the amp is not working , opened up the back ,i think one of the pots is dead, there is a bit of greenish dust below the pot, could i take the amp to an electrician ?, there is a shop that repaires amps, and other stuff, Thanks

Check fuses for the amp Jonathan, I'm sure this has a separate fuse for this part, replace with the correct rated fuse, these do get a bit crusty if not used even the fuse holder can be difficult to open, be careful not to brake the screw in top part.
