It is my lucky day. I am now in New Caledonia, far away from my country, Indonesia. But last night I was on my phone without any special intention, I was randomly searching on facebook of my country. Just by incident I found the below message. I did not believe my own eyes that somebody was selling an Elmo 16CL since last March in almost new condition and no one bought it. I quickly contacted the owner and voila...it was atill available!!

We have finally made a deal and the projector was sold to me which for a working and clean projector was considered a good price. :-)

[EDIT: I just noticed this is an M & O projector....wooohoooo...it is even better!!]

The other side that make me even happier, the proejctor was located in my home town, so the owner was able to deliver it by hand. So this morning the projector is already in my house, while I am sill in New Caledonia.

BTW guys did you notice the lens is longer than the normal Elmo 16CL, what type of lens is that?

I was lucky enough to find an Elmo 1.4 fixed lens in excellent condition for my CL. Fills my eight foot screen at a sixteen foot distance [Smile]

Another naive question. What does it mean Joe? I am only aware in 8mm the standard lens is 1.3 and the lower number is the better lens we have, e.g 1.1 or 1.0.

The standard lens for Elmo 16 CL is 1.2 right? So what is the difference with 1.4?

The difference is a bigger picture with the f1.4 20mm than the standard f1.2 50mm at a shorter distance [Smile]

So if my lens is correct an ISCO 35-65mm zoom (I cannot touch it now since I am in New Caledonia), I believe it is totally a bargain because the lens must be expensive then.... [Cool]

I am physically now in New Caledonia, while the projector is in Indonesia so I cannot see it in person. But my brother just sent me photos of this projector in detail.

The lens is apparently Elmo Vario MC 1.3: 35 - 65mm.

I don't know if it is a good lens or not, but what make me surprise, the projector does still come with the original box and styrofoam [Cool]
