Hello, does anyone know where I can buy the card boxes that most 16mm features seem to be in. Does any one in the UK make /sell them. A friend of mine working in South African TV says they used to store 16mm in unused pizza boxes??? But I would rather have the plain old card ones...help!

One can always turn the pizza box inside out so all the ink is on the inside

I've had to make my own, all carefully measured to match the others. The difficult part, has been to get decent cardboard in the right size. The rest of the time I renovate the ones I have if they are looking a bit worse for wear.

I've bought quite a lot made in the UK at two different times - some for individual reels, some for 3 x 1600' or 2 x 2000'. But on both occasions they were made to order for dealers, by box manufacturing companies, and I don't know who made them. Anyone researching this might find a company to do it, but to keep the cost down, it would probably involve placing a pretty big order, so having a few buyers would be desirable!

I had a box made to order a few years ago, for sending a projector for repair, it cost me £20.
