Hi i have a bell and howell zoom lens 32-65mm and the front element has fungus in it is there a way to get inside this to remove and clean it?
I looks like the top that you turn to zoom is made of plastic but i cant find anyway to remove it as i dont want to damage it anymore there are no screws on the lens anywhere.

hi,

If you can't find a way to open the lense, you need to use UV lamp. i think it's the only way without opening the lens.

Here a exemple:

Hi Barry,
UV will kill the fungus and stop it growing but won’t remove what’s there already.
It’s agood idea if you want to stop it getting any worse though.
