Tee hee... need some help screening through them, Dan? [Wink] But seriously, too bad the days of libraries and exchanges are over. Some films are great fun to watch once. It's a lot of work or expense to get a quality print only to use it once or twice, especially for those of us who only screen films once every few months (no dedicated space possible).

eBay seems slow right now. Among other things, Dan, I noticed your S8 "Dentist" auction, with glowing description, didn't sell even though you were practically giving it away. Amazing.

That's the first title I ever bought off of eBay, and overpaid of course. Haven't screened it in years -- between my family finding the grumpy schtick that Fields does not very funny, plus one mild profanity and that one risque scene (I didn't know what "pre-Code" meant back then), I just don't bother. It appears that our sentiments are shared by others!

Anyway, I don't know where you find such great collections, but your auctions are reasonably priced and full of interesting stuff. I guess that's why I buy from you every once in awhile!

Thanks, Bill. Maybe the Dentist print is common right now or maybe W.C. Fields is at a low point(no pun intended)on the collectible scale right now. I know every time I see someone get patted on the rear I say "fifty pounds and chop it fine". [Big Grin]

Soon I'll be listing the super 8 and standard 8mm films too. Can't wait to see what goodies lie within. [Eek!]

Dan, how cheap can you manage shipping for the 16 MM "Popeye" feature? I love that film! [Big Grin]

Hi, Christian,

I can transfer it to cores(no reels) and ship it in a Medium Flat Rate box for $43.50.
