An extremely rare surviving 16mm print from WWII, found under the floorboards of a house in Sweden!

This is reel number 13 of a 50 reel set produced by Tobis/Degato, and filmed by the German army, between 1939 and 1943. These films were NOT newsreels but were available to BUY ONLY by German citizens to be projected at home, thus these films were never knowingly safeguarded, and as much they were eventually 'chucked' away

This reel is entitled: Aus der deutschen Seekriegsführung (German Naval warfare)

The reel measures some 13cm across and is around 200' of double perf 16mm in black and white silent, and is complete. This reel contains views of German soldiers, then the Luftwaffe with ariel shots of ME109s etc, and then finishes with views of German warships firing guns and torpedoes, sinking ships and shots of E boats (The Stukas of the Sea)

I have shot a view seconds of the film being projected by me on Vimeo (please note the film is BLACK AND WHITE and not sepia as it appears nowa nd again, this is due to the white balance of my camera not being able to work out the blue of the projector lamp and the b/w of the print. The print is a B/W) SEE THE VIDEO CLIP HERE: http://vimeo.com/29040222

The print is in exceptional condition for its some 70 years of age and anyone of these reels is VERY RARE to find especially as it comes with both its slip and storage cases. Reel is mounted onto a card reel.
ASKING £70 NEGOTIABLE PLUS CAN POST WORLDWIDE FROM eNGLAND
