I recently bought an Elmo 16-cl and am now in the process of cleaning it. For some reason (beyond my limited comprehension) it is missing the projection lens cover. If anyone has one, let me know and I would be more than happy to buy it from you.

Greetings
That cover is no longer available from Elmo Int
I might be able to order that cover from Elmo Japan if it is available from them Might be a month or 2 if they have one .
(slow boat from China (Japan) I do not know the cost of the cover. My be a little pricey.
I can try when i place my next months order.
That part number is 4p10322 which covers the lamp
Or do you need the one with the hole in it for the focus knob
I have 2 of them in stock At a cost of $15.00 each plus mailing.

Hi Richard
I need the one with the hole in it for the focus knob. Let me know the full amount and how to pay you. Thanks for the quick reply. I cleaned the machine up and ran a reel thru it. Runs like a charm and the sound was surprisingly good!

Apart from the glorious ElmoScope II, I have never seen any of the Elmo lenses with their caps. Never. I guess this is a very rare breed.

Jean-Marc, I think Michael is talking about a COVER that fits over the lens assembly with the Focus knob poking through it, not a CAP to fit over the front glass of the lens?

Martin

Martin, you're correct. The cover is for the side of the lens and reduces the light coming out the side of the machine and also helps to keep the dust from getting into the all the little parts. It doesn't make sense to call this a lens cover because the lens is not covered as with a traditional lens cover............ but the owners manual labels it as a lens cover. Why? The answer could be anybody's guess.

Hi Richard thanks, sorry I missed yout post.

Appreciate the kind help, can`t see any part numbers on a quick look, could probably do with all of them if not too serious.
The main drive is OK with an O ring as using at the moment, but the main large flat one side toothed job, and the flywheel drive one would be handy and any others you can find out about please.

Thank You.

Best Mark.

Richard, Your welcome. As I said earlier your service has been excellent and dealing direct with you has in some respects been easier than dealing with some of the UK dealers. Incidentally I have not found anyone in the UK that deals direct with Elmo like you do.

Once again thanks for all you have done for me in the past especially those elusive screws for the CL which I really didnt think I would get.

Kev.

Still checking my other sources. all 10 of them
Will let you know as i find out
Sure theirs no part number on that belt you need.
I lent my master service manual out about 2 weeks ago.
He forgot to send it back before he and his better half went on vacation. So im a little lost for part numbers for said unit.

But that unit was a very early model late 60’s early 70’s so much has changed parts wise from that model.
Still on the look out

Hi Richard, its very good and kind of you to go to all of these efforts.
I`m going to nip back into the back of the machine tomorrow.
The actual film path etc is the same as the 16A so maybe the more needed belts are the same.
Anyway I`ll be in touch tomorrow and thanks again.
Best Mark.

Greetings

From what I remember the 16A was a multivolt with 4 different frame rates.

I think the 16aa had two Mag tracks
Is this about right.
Still working Not having much luck

Hi Richard thank you for all of your kind efforts, I thought it was going to be a tough one.
Not had the back off yet as slipped a disc in my neck 2 weeks ago and just taking the back off is beyond me really though I was going to try, sat writing this is grim in itself.

Anyway I`m hoping I may have picked up a later eiki with luck and belts etc there is going to be far easier I think.

It really was very nice of you to go to all of that effort for me Richard, I do love this old banger of an Elmo. Thank You again.

Best Wishes Mark.
