I just saw Herbie - Fully Loaded, by Walt Disney Pictures.
It's a fun film for the family, and also for nostalgia
'Love Bug' lovers to see to together. [Smile]
I read today, that The Love Bug, was the top grossing film of 1968, above
Butch Cassidy and Midnight Cowboy.

Midnight Cowboy was the Best Picture Oscar for 1969, not 1968. [Smile]

Oooops, I stand corrected.
Everything that is printed in the papers is not fit to print. Sorry about that.

But I did find this link interesting, listing the top grossing films for 1969.
Although, lists can be misleading, and not fully definitive.

1969 in film

I just saw the film. Nice and entertaining. The racing segments are quite well made. You just can't help but loving this car. And Miss Lohan is quite an eye-pleaser.

I saw this last night, and I too thought it to be a nice piece of family entertainment, but the only thing that put me off a bit (the kids won't notice it), was the adverse product placement used in the film, I could understand if this was a low budget movie, but this is a DISNEY flick. Still I did enjoy it, and yes Lindsay Lohan is a stunner.

Indeed Barry,

I agree, the race scenes were full of marketing advertisements.
Today's Disney is shameless in making a buck, to save a buck.
