Many people in the USA are greatly saddened today to learn of the death of ABC News Anchor Peter Jennings at the young age of 67. At a time when much of the US radio and TV airwaves have been taken over by radical right wing Republican talking heads, Peter was a trusted presence of class, culture, and international sophistication. He is totally irreplaceable.
