Hi I was away over the weekend and I do not know if there has been a problem with the forum, but I can't seem to find a thread I started?

The title was "External speaker on GS 800 ".
Funny thing is that when I search this forum the title pops up but not the thread.
No biggi. Just wantet to check though.

Is this a collateral damage of Doug's big fall topics clean out? [Big Grin]

It's turned up again in the 8mm forum so it must have been.
Where do you suppose things like these "go" when they are not where they are supposed to be?

They go to the legendary secret graveyard of essential film related topics...

Knut,

Sorry about that......I did move the topic over to the 8mm Forum, but since the last reply in your thread dated back to November 8th, it took it's place on a previous page instead of the current one. We never delete a topic without telling the topic starter. In fact, you were supposed to be automatically notified that your post had been moved. I'll check into why that didn't happen.

Jean-Marc,

I'm sure there's a home for wayward posts where they can live out their lives with dignity and respect.

Doug

Ha... Yes... But no one actually saw this place and lived to tell us about it.

It's no biggi, Doug, it was just so wierd. As I was browsing the forums I could not find it on either page. The search feature found the title but not the contents. I used google to search this site and found a cached version withouth the latest replys,
so I startet to wonder if someone had said something they shouldn't have. I got the "move info thread-mail" after i posted this thread so I understand now.
All is cool.

Either Knut changed his email and didn't update it in his profile here, or his email provider dumped the notification email into a spam folder. I just checked and the email system is working properly on the server.

hi Brad,

I haven't changed my e-mail and the notification was deliver to the in box in my hotmail account, not the spam folder. It just got there after I started this thread. I suspect a mail server problem , most likely MSN, but as I said, all is well now so it doesn't matter any more.

Thanks for your help.
