I have seen this title and was so dissapointed. It was so pity this film is all stars cast, Rober de Niro, Matt Damon, Joe PEsci, Angelina Jolie, Willim Hurt, etc,,etc.

But the story is too slow. If there is a genre so-called "Boring", I will nominate it to this film.

Any comment?

I agree Winbert. We stayed up til 2am the other night trying to stay awake through this very slow, very long, film. As you say, a big disappointment.

Actually, there is a genre of "bad films", but these are films so "bad they are good".

I guess a film could never be so "boring it is exciting".

..unless frustration is exciting.

I found watching this film, that there was too many characters for the viewer to comprehend who and what was going on. I think De Niro has a flair for directing, what lets him down is in the cutting room, he should have gone for a lot longer cut (apparantly this will come out on DVD) where some of the scenes are fleshed out and explained more, or exscing a couple of characters, thus being able to reduce the running time. You must commend De Niro for attempting to tell the story of the CIA in one film, but it was mind numbing at times (let alone the pain in my rear end from the running time), as characters came on screen all looking alike, dressing alike, and except for the British accents in the film, more or less sounded alike. A good effort if flawed by the running time and lack of identifiable characters.
