Hi,

when looking at the German ads for "Death Proof", I never see this film advertised as "starring Kurt Russell"!? He's shown on the posters, trailers, ... . But all previous films with Kurt Russell did have "Kurt Russell" in large, bold letters on the posters. And the trailers' commentary did have a "mit Kurt Russell"!? Now the only person that's mentioned is Tarantino!?
Is this the same world-wide?

i don't know aboutthe posters, but this is an essemble cast and so there is not just one big star. i believe Bruce Willis is in the other of the two films.

It will be cool to see this! This is one of those films that would be excellent as a Super 8 release, as they could release
each film as a seperate feature release, or you could choose to buy both.

Another great choice for a super 8 release would be "Sin City" (which, i believe, the director is making a sequel to!) as the three stories can be released as seperate releases as well!

Joerg,

"Death Proof" was released in the US as the second half of the 191 minute long "Grindhouse" feature, along with Robert Rodriguez's "Planet Terror". The poster features ads for both titles but the Tarantino film has the copy "Kurt Russell is 'Death Proof'".

Shame you can`t get the Sin City trailer on super 8 as very good.
I`m not sure about the film. I was all ready to be well into it but found it left me a bit not so sure. Uncomfortable.
That being apart from when Marv dropped in on his probation officer, WOWZA and I think she was the mum in Spy Kids !!!!
The trailer isn`t on the dvd release in the UK, but have it an a dvd sampler from a mag.
best Mark.
