Hi all,

I don't understand with today's world.

Long tiome ago we remember how Kodak in USA was instructed by anti-monopoly laws no to put the mailer envelop inside all films they sold in the USA. The main reason was putting the mailer tended to push the buyer to use only Kodak's Lab for processing.

But now with the war between HD-DVD vs BD, there is a weird stuff where studios only supports either format.

It means somone owns HD-DVD player cannot watch all movies from BD supporters and vice-versa.

During the VHS vs Beta war this did not happen, becuase all studios were available on both format.

So, guys, why the current situation did not bother the anti-Monopoly law?

cheers,

ps: In Indonesia there was a case where a paid TV channel was not allowed to take all matches of English Premier League becuase someone who did not subscribe to that paid TV will not be able to see the League!!
