Hey Kevin F.

I've always been curious as to how your motorcycle woes ended up?

Update us, if you should so choose to do.

Osi, It all ended not so good but then very good.

A few months a go the Ins Co finally made me an offer of £1500 GBP [Frown] At this point I had to weigh up taking this small amount and losing my 3 yrs no claims bonus or telling them to get stuffed and keeping my NCB.
In he end I decided to tell them to shove their offer where the sun doesnt shine [Big Grin]

The fact of the matter is that I had replaced Kermit 1 with Kermit ll and of course it was paid for by the films etc I had sold and by now I had got over all that, it was now history.

Now the good bit:

I went to my local Kawasaki Dealer 3 weeks a go to buy some new brake pads for Kermit 11 and after buying them I had a look round their showroom...mistake! [Wink]
Kermit ll cost me £3200 and they were prepared to offer me £2500 for Kermit 11 against a brand new model which was being offered with 0% interest over 3 yrs. I didnt think that loss was too great seeing as I had Kermit 11 for just over a year. BTW I didnt even get to fit the new brake pads but handed them in with Kermit 11.

So please everyone meet Kermit 111 with it's sexy satin black frame and central rear exhaust:

It runs like a dream and it's great to have a bike once more from new. Still running it in at the moment so havent really opened it up. It's lighter than the old model and it is a real job to keep the speed (Revs) down. It should be run in by next weekend and is having it's first service (oil change) on Friday so next weekend I'm out for a blast to see what Kermit 111 is capable of [Eek!]

Ohh and with my 3 yrs NCB my fully comp ins was only £235 pounds for the year [Smile]

Kev

How about a personalised number plate from the DVLA for £999, including transfer fee and VAT?

They have EL08KEV which would really finish off Kermit III.

The DVLA say they have over 28 million registrations currently available for sale.

That's a lot of dosh!
