I went to the Post Office this morning to buy some stamps, and I noticed that they are selling the latest Legends of Hollywood stamp, this time featuring the greatest cowboy of all - Gary Cooper. I asked for 20 stamps, and the clerk asked me if I wanted them as a set, and I said yes. Well, when I got the set home and looked at it, I decided it was so beautiful that I simply cannot use the stamps!
What a great souvenir of Coop - I will be framing this one! [Smile]

Personally I would vote for John Wayne, but Gary Cooper is way up there.

His role in "High Noon" was incredible. His fellow actors, on watching him act, would often say that he couldn't act, but then when they'd see him on the screen they'd say he was incredible.

His films are, in large part, rarely seen, as a general rule. I rarely see them, that is. He died too soon.

You may even consider to display it in the home cinema.

I do not know if the Jimmy Stewart is still available?

you have a chance.

Also: The Westerner, Mr. Deeds goes to Town, Meet John Doe,
Ball of Fire, Pride of the Yankees.

Foreign Correspondent for Hitchcock.

I have a Standard 8mm feature of Lilac Time,
starring Cooper and Colleen Moore
It appears to be printed from the negative.

It is a UA release print with great clarity, and
it appears to be direct from the camera negative.
