Sounds good, Jim!

Just to add to our collective knowledge:

1) What was wrong?
2) How did he fix it?

Thanks!

Greetings

I have known Jerry for many years. Great person to deal with.

MY Elmo 1200hd had the rubber on the shutter melt off it i sent it to irv in california who in my opinion did nothing to make it better so for years I was using this thing with noise and vibration I had bought another elmo and saw thie service sticker on the unit and decided to call him and ask him if he still services these he said yes so off it went he took the drive/shutter assy out and continued to clean the rest of the goop off the 18fps never worked because of the loss of the rubber he managed to get that to work as well as quiet it down Considerably. I am a very happy camper now.

I've noticed a little buzzing coming from mine as well. This may explain it.

I think if Elmo had decided to build the ST-1200 with a DC motor and a belt we'd have a lot less to talk about around here!
