Hi there, if my friends in German and the Netherlands are going to send money to an Ebay seller lives in Luxembourg will there be any charge? if so, will that be high?

There IBAN numbers to be used and the three countries are member of European Union.

Please enlighten me.

When filling the form (either hard copy or digital), the sender will have three options : "charge the sender", "charge the receiver" or "shared fees", so it's just a matter of agreement between the sender and the receiver. Some banks are more expensive than others, some banks have plans that will allow you to send for free up to a certain amount (or they want you to believe that it's free).

Hi JM, thanks for your input.

Say that I choose "charge the sender" what will be the charge?

For example, for any amount I was charged $45 to send money overseas (TT) from Canada to any countries. Will that be the amount within European Union members with IBAN?

thanks
