Something I missed pretty soon were all the neat British films. Stateside it's not at all hard to find a Blackhawk or a Disney, but I missed my regular dosage of Looks at Lives and Pathe Pics and DCRs.

A couple of months later I hooked up with Paul Foster and started out with a biopic of Winston Churchill.

-all is well!

Even if Derann were still active Kevin, they would'nt have been releasing much,as far as I'm concerned,Derann died when their
proprietor did.

...have said that before, but feel like repeating myself in that I miss their open days-have identified Bham with DERANN since I moved here & it's still hard to accept it's gone...maybe they didn't reelase new features but their stands were full of stock now hard to find at eBay without paying ridiculous prices sometimes...

I was away from 8mm film for an entire decade, and thought by the time I checked it out on the internet I'd find out I was the last guy on the planet to give it a moment's thought.

Just the fact that they were printing brand new films made them one of my favorite companies in the world pretty much instantly!
