Following the other thread regarding international shipping without tracking, I found nowadays every overseas shipment will be accompanied with barcode.

So do they really not be able to track should it get lost? If so what the barcode is for? Joe as you are with USPS may be you can enlight us.

Ps: I have a strong hope that with today's technology all parcels must be trackable. The only makes different is delivery time frame and door to door delivery vs pick up at the station.
