i don't know if I've spelt his name correctly, or care less. I'm suffering, a documentary on him at present. What a boring little
guy this is. I might add, not a mention of Ray Harryhausen, Ray
WHO? Thinking he could improve on Roddenberry's Star Trek,
pouring scorn on super 8 film. He would have done well if he had
studied film composition, like modern day Leone, Bava, Fisher, etc
Modern day Hollywood has a lot to answer for, they aren't producing film of worth that can be held up as testimony to edit
or photography these days, and no doubt he'll provide enough
explosions and other on screen rubbish to satisfy the STAR WARS fraternity

Thank goodness for Steven Speilberg who is 100% a film user for his movies.

Haha well the one complaint I have for Abrams is that his movie "Super 8" mucks up my Google search results all too often:-P

Well, at least Steve Spielberg tells a good tale well. This Abrams
chap really annoyed me,dismissing The original "Star Trek", and
thinking his film was an improvement! The film directors I REALLY
appreciate are the ones who work on miniscule budgets, and come
up with the results, eg; my hero Bava, on "Diabolic", that created
an underground lair for the anti-hero, by the use of cutouts, and it
worked!
