This post may seem a little strange coming from me, but I will explain …

I’ve looked forward to launching my music for over four years and am at the cusp of it (hopefully), taking off. Maybe it will take off, maybe it will just “rot on the vine”.

What I wanted to say, is that, if I (that is, “we”, as I am doing it for my family), become successful, I will not change and become arrogant or over awed with what fame we get. I will stay the same old lovable OSI I have always been. Silly, foolish and just the slightest amount of cine info provider that I am.

I say this as I have corresponded for a number of years with a few people, some present forum members, some not, who were treated like average blokes until success came they’re way, and then people who had been they’re friends turned they’re backs on them, either due to jealousy or other reasons.

Though I have never had the pleasure of meeting any of you personally, (Have talked on the phone with a number), I have come to feel that all of you are dear friends that I would never wish to lose. I should hope that you won’t turn your back on me as I certainly would not do so to you folks.

That’s all I wanted say. All the best everyone!

OSI

That's really nice Osi, I hope you do well in the music business.
When my father was getting somewhere as a writer more than 50 years ago, his friend and employer, the father of Mr Universe Reg Park, told him 'Never forget your humble roots'. Our original
Rock'n'roller Tommy Steele, though he is a multimillionaire, drives around his birthplace in Bermondesey, London, just to remind him where he came from.

A saying I heard years ago was 'It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice'

All the best.
