The Chancellor has announced today that the British car tax discs will be consigned to history after 93 years as from next year.

Damm just got a new one.

Wish they would spend the money on the roads though. Where we are its worse than the third world for pot holes.

The guys from Arizona don't know what a canyon is till they see the pot holes on the roads here.

I have 2 vintage rolls Royce and are both on free tax I also have a vintage lorry erf and that to is on free tax ,so it wont affect me

Hi, I hear that the reason for scrapping the tax discs is that they are now redundant because speed cameras etc. pictures are sent to computers which automatically check details of the vehicles from the licence plate and check against lists of unpaid road tax!! Such is the progress of modern technology!!
