Welcome back, William. No doubt you will be surprised that used film prices have gone up considerably. Be careful what you buy, and from whom.

Hi Maurice Yes i have noticed the price increase just looking through ebay and the likes. Hopefully still some bargains to be had out there [Smile]

Hi William, welcome back. How long has it been since you stopped actively collecting?

Hi Zecharia been about 18 months now sold up everything not that I had a huge collection anyway but had got into 8mm and was enjoying learning and watching classics as they should be.Anyway a new business venture sidetracked me but now that is established I am free to get back to a great hobby [Smile]

Welcome back! It doesn’t have to be expensive Will if you don’t want it to be. I have just splashed out on a brand new super 8 sound film for the princely sum of five golden pounds for my own collection.

Lee there is always a bargain to be had in anything [Smile] I remember buying my first projector for £2.50 at a car boot sale and thinking wow what a bargain until I had realised my first lesson in collecting super8. Not all projectors are with sound and Prinze magnon are not that great as it broke running my first short through it haha.
