I got an idea yesterday how the world of the 'net and the "real world" aren't really in seperate universes.

I took my son to Boy Scouts last night. One of the other Dads walked up to me and said:

"We have this thing at work where people can bring in stuff they don't want and other people can take it away if they do. There was this "P8" movie projector: I brought it home. The motor runs but nothing moves.

I went on the 'net trying to figure it out. I found this website and you are on there. It says you are a 'film guy'. Can you help?"

-so last night I found him instructions on how to check the belts. We'll take it from there!
