Have any collectors acquired a Rectimascop anamorphic which Steve Osborne has for sale new with an Elmo bracket?

It is described for S-8/16mm use, and with its 62.5mm size it lets through more light than 43/52mm lenses.

Having found details via Google I see this comes from the DDR (East Germany) and from its overall size it certainly seems that this was designed for 35mm use. It looks heavy and I wonder how it performs with the Elmo bracket in view of its weight.

I use that with my 16mm on a bracket I had to get a bigger ring for and on my GS-1200 with a bracket bought from Wittner (expensive, but worth it)

Superb lens that is and I got both mine for 30 euro or there abouts

Best scope lens I've ever used....very very sharp....I've had no problems with the bracket Steve O. sells for the scope lenses. Just wish I could figure a way to use it for my 16mm Pageant machines.

Yep the Rectimascope is a very good scope lens. It's sharp and has great contrast and light throughput.

What is the closest distance to the screen that the lens will focus down to?

I've used it at 3 to 6m and worked fine
