Has ebay been hacked again? Keep getting this 'The connection was reset'

Due to a technical issue, some eBay customers may notice a problem with key areas of the eBay site . We’re working to solve this problem and apologise for any inconvenience. Please try to complete your transaction at a later time.

They're losing a tremendous amount of income. Mine's down, and I understand eBay in the US is also down. Recently, the site has been extremely slow to respond. Now it's at a stand-still!

No problem with EBay Belgium but I've just checked EBay UK and it is, indeed not working well. You have to refresh the pages to access them but EBay quickly asks you to log in (which I didn't).

I tried several times to loin to MyEbay but the connection was lost. Finally able to do so but there is obviously a problem because I was able to access other sites with no hindrance.
