Well - another great has gone to that theatrical auditorium in the sky. Originally from Farnworth - who will forget his Irish Priest in "The Wild Geese" and Porthos in the fabulous Musketeer films. He was a brilliant Van Helsing to Louis Jourdan's Dracula in the BBC 1977 adaptation. And several years ago I got to see him in a touring production of "Woman in Black" and he was excellent.

It isn't only the greats we're loosing. Time marches on and it's effects are being seen in the current 'stars'. Saw a picture of Brad Pitt this morning on a set for his latest film in Paris. Where are the youthful looks, and that body is showing distinct signs of middle age spread. Age can be very cruel.
