If you are a bit tired of the usual stuff coming out of Hollywood, then this new film might be just the ticket.

They had an interview on TV this morning with the cast including actor Sam Neill and director Taika Waititi who made the film "Boy" a few years ago.

So if you want to watch something a bit different and by all accounts its just an easy going quirky funny film made in NZ this could be one to look out for.

Your welcome John

So far the reviews have been very good indeed, its on at the local cinemas at the moment.

It looks like Sam Neill enjoyed working on this film, and has been full of praise of his young co-star. He does not seem to have aged much, since his days of "Jurassic Park" and "Hunt for Red October".

Well yesterday on Facebook I noticed that the wee town where I spent a few years living in Scotland, were running a film festival.

To my surprise, one of the picks was "Hunt for the Wilderpeople", the response to its screening was positive. As I never got round to watching it at the cinema, I decided to get the just released Blu-ray instead.

Its actually a very enjoyable movie, so if you are looking for something that's a bit different I would recommend it, once again Taika Waititi has brought to the screen a quirky and humorous story, full of strange characters. Sam Neill seems to be in his element in this film, as with the rest of the cast.

Projected on a video projector, both the picture and DTS sound are excellent. [Smile]
