Love this video ...

... which was shot at or around or after year 2000, as "Master and Commander" is on the shelves of Derann in the background in one of the shots.

enjoy

It is great. I also linked to it in another section here. Everyone who hasn't seen it definitely should.

Think Master & Commander was released by Derann about 2004, Osi.

Where do the years go???

Wow, that video was made sometime shortly before Derann would close it's doors. How could any of us have known at the time.

So sad, but awesome to see Derann up and running again, even if just on video. I even learned a slight bit more about optical sound super 8.

Always give credit where credit is due ... This video first came to my knowledge thru Micheal De Angelis, on another film forum!

Optical sound as means for sound reproduction has always been the poor relation compared to other methods regarding its overall sound quality and its limited frequency range.

It's a pity 16mm didn't universally adopt the magnetic Stereo track. I for one, would have been far more interested in these films had they have done.

I just wonder if that's my recently acquired print of DH3 Ged speaks of there?

Now that'd be something if it was. I don't suppose I'd ever know though sadly, who was the original recipient of this particular print featured here.

Either or,from any of them here, I'd be pleased to see it being created!

How good is your memory here Ged? Ha ha. [Wink]

What an absolute belter of a photograph that is there of Derek btw!
Happy days eh [Wink]
