Of course back in the day you could get Kodachrome 40 color reversal at Target for $3.49.

Does that include processing and if so where will it be done?

EJ Korvettes, roughly 1980...

-Every couple of months they did Kodachrome 40 with a mailer for $3.50!

Even back in my minimum wage days I filled the fruit drawer of Mom's fridge with movie film.

(You can eat fruit some other time!)

I've always found the best prices direct from Kodak in Manhattan: 1-800-621-FILM.

I thought it wasnt a bad price either. Film is expensive today.

One question. Is Kodak still actively making Tri-x or are all the cartridges you see on sale everywhere like 'old warehouse stock' and when its gone its gone.

100% still actively being produced.

Back in the day (early 1970's), I was able to finance my primitive Super 8 productions with my meager earnings from my paper route. Put this same scenario in today's world and it simply wouldn't be financially feasible. Today's economy is way out of proportion.

It's actually kind of silly: Kodak charges much less and being that I am maybe 50 miles from their point of sale I usually find it on my front porch the second day after I place the order even by the cheapest shipping.

-until maybe three or five years ago you could drop cartridges off at Target for processing. I believe it wound up at Dwaynes, who I deal with directly.
