I always check the feedback of the person first. I really do believe in it as i have mentioned before. Bad sellers cannot maintain good feedback for long.
If he has bad feedback, i would notify ebay and block him as a buyer.
It is rare, but sometimes you get ebayers that get confused on how it works. The fact he rebid makes me feel he really wants the item. I once had a potential buyer who never once knew ebay had private messages and never checked them..He started after ebay contacted him by phone [Smile]
Thanx for letting us know and sorry you had issues!

hi matt tried blocking him but it comes up invalid member but he is still on

...sometime a message of invalid user can happen if the member has at some point changed their user ID.
Doing an Advanced Search on the invalid ID should bring up the new ID that it has been changed to. Hopefully you can find his ID this way.

That happens a lot with bad ebayers. They get too many unfavorable ratings, and so, they just get a new account.

If it were me I would let it run. If he doesn't pay you will not post it to him so you will have lost nothing and you can report him as a non payer again and maybe eBay will get the message about him. If he is outbid he has done you a favour by raising the price for you.
