AT&T is to spend $85.4 Billion to buy Time Warner, owner of Warner Bros film studio. The deal will also give AT&T access to cable channels, HBO and CNN.

These sums are mind-boggling to ordinary working folk but I suppose there are other conglomerates so big they could buy up AT & T quite easily. I hear Disney is enormous these days.

Yes Disney may have that money (to buy AT & T) but also the rule of anti trust/monopoly may limit Disney to buy it.
