This may be of interest to some. It's a new flip book kit. We don't see many new non-digital movie machines these days.

When I was a kid, I bought this:

Paper Movie Machines

I made most of them at the time and still have them and the book some 40 years later!

The corners of my school exercise books were all covered with "matchstick characters" which moved as you flicked the corners. Must have amused a number of teachers when the books were collected for marking as I was never reprimanded. Its a good job I never drew any rude ones!!! [Smile] [Wink] Ken Finch.

My schoolbooks too were full of flipbook animation!

I have a copy of The Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers Book by Arlene Groce. The top right front and top left back of each page of this superb book have a little frame from one of their dances in Swing Time and one from Follow the Fleet. When you flip the pages of the book like a flip book, you get a few seconds of dance by the greatest dance team in movie history!

Paul, that book was probably designed by some like Ken and Panayotis that doodled in their school books. Great idea though.
