A wonderful "film" is now in the "cinémas" in France. It consists in a compilation different early Lumière films (each of them were 50 seconds long). The audio narration (in French, of course) is very enjoyable. The film starts with the famous film in which you see employees going out the Lumière factory. Then you see another version of this film. And then a third one that appears to be the one shown at the first public projection (instead of the well known version which is a remake). Very interesting. It appears that the film has already been released on a dvd that was sold at a Lumière exhibition last year but the cover of a dvd I founded on the net is not the same as the film cover so I don't know if it is the same or not.
