I recently bought a rare cartoon from an ebay seller, and the photo's except for a light green bit o scratch here and there, appeared to be really good, but when i got the print, it was a heck of a lot more scratched.

I know I'm out of the lop when it comes to modern tech, but are there programs that allow a person the erase scratches in screenshots?

... as this print is certainly not what i saw in the screen captures that the seller had on the auction, i even went to the very frames he shot, (yep I'm THAT anal! [Smile] ), and they appear to have definitely been "touched up".

Oh yes Osi. Adobe Photoshop can do miracles with photos. I have restored several old family photos that were scratched and faded. They look perfect again.

Now to think of it...I should have Photoshopped my forum photo to get rid of my double chin [Smile]

You are much too hard on yourself.

In my opinion, you are aging gracefully! [Smile]

Most I have seen aren't that good, but manual covering with teh cloner brush can work wonders on single shots.

One certainly could cover those scratches with photoshop. On the other hand, I have noticed that some scratches don't show up well when I take pictures (depending on the camera I am using).

I've also seen photos on eBay cropped to hide the notorious side scratches [Cool]

Many graphic programs have a "scratch removal" tool.
