Tobe Hooper has died at 74. Best known for horror classics like Texas Chainsaw Massacre , Salems Lot and Poltergeist.

Thats a shame. 74! it was 1974 that Texas chainsaw was made, how spooky.
Texas chainsaw was my first ever feature, (all be it slightly abridge by a few minutes), i bought it brand new from Iver for £99.
Recently we got a copy of Poltergeist. RIP Tobe

Beyond Poltergeist, I REALLY loved the completely over the top "Lifeforce", as well as one of his lesser known horrors, "Funhouse"!

His horror features i would almost classify as "Old School" horror, up there with John Carpenters great films!

Hey Osi, your right on both of those and we do have Fun-house, Lifeforce and also Deathtrap on region 1 DVDs.

Tobe Hooper was a severely underrated director. R.I.P. Mr. Hooper.
