Well folks this will be the last one regarding the old Ernemann 2 projector. With summer coming on I intend to get away from all this film stuff and enjoy the fresh air.

However it was a real joy to this feature last night...the magic of the movies... dont you think? [Smile]

Oh my goodness me! What a set up! Graham, why do you have to live sooo far away? I, and many more on this forum, would have been quite happy to pop over and indulge ourselves with you on many an evening if we were living in your neighbourhood.
Looking at all that wonderful 35mm equipment makes me feel very humble in my little super 8 man cave with only a "poxy" GS1200 for company ( Ha! Ha!)...... and then what 35mm feature is loaded up on the cake stand?.......... not much..... only E.T.!!!!!!!

As I am north of the equator heading towards winter, the darker nights mean more film shows. Your summer is just starting so enjoy the fresh air that you have promised yourself.... just don't forget to crank up that equipment when it is all over!

Watching your 35mm film projector in action is accelerating [Smile] There's an emotional reaction in addition to the movie itself. It's something that will never be experienced with digital projection. Thank you Graham for doing your part in extending the life and enjoyment of this wonderful medium.

Thanks Janice and Mathew...

Funny thing that happened a few weeks ago when my 8yr old grandson was watching the HD version of "The Flight of the Navigator" on the VP, anyway as the end credits were rolling, Connor got up asked me for his stool to stand on, took of to the Ernemann to close the dowser etc as he had done in the past. He looked at the Ernemann and I had to explain the movie was being projected on the Video projector not the Ernemann [Frown] ...so next time he visits he can do everything with ET [Cool] including the threading etc...see how he gets on [Smile] ...sounds like fun [Wink]

Very nice thank you Graham.

Funny you saying " with summer coming on " when we are just plunging in to the dark and wet months over here. ( and how !!! ).

Best Mark.
