I had a Goko once that felt like it was built to military specifications. I can't remember the exact model number but that left such an impression, that it's definitely the brand I would look into.

The Minette S-5 is highly recommended for Super 8. The spool size is the limiting factor. Some only support 400ft spools and other S-5's up to 600ft.
