OK, i have run into an occasionally irritating situation where I will post something, and the site has some kind "flood" situation where you won't be able to put up you're post, but when you go back to the page where you wrote the post, it's gone and you have to start from scratch all over again.

I see to have come upon a very good solution, however.

Before you post any post, hit, "control" and "C" and I have noticed when i do that, for some odd reason, i never lose the post ...

But I forget to do that occasionally and yep, you guessed it, it's always on a long winded post that it gets lost. (rrrr)

I had several times the same problem. I thought it was because of my computer.

The forum software is several years old and understandably has some bugs. If I'm creating a post that's more than a couple of sentences...I first compose it in notepad and copy and paste it into the forum post form. On detailed posts that contain photos..I will copy from the forum post form into notepad and save it as I go along. This has saved me much time and frustration after I've inadvertently closed the browser tab.

I've got the same message recently but if you read the instructions that are on screen you wait 30 seconds and hit refresh and your post will be put on the thread... if you hit the back button or do not wait 30 seconds your post will disappear.

This June we will be on the air 15 years!

I'm not really sure if it's because this is roughly the same years I've been a Dad or not, but MAN, those 15 years passed quickly!

The shame of it is this is actually the second incarnation of this Forum: the original was lost in a server crash and included Derek Simmonds as a member.

If would be great to thumb through those posts!
