I believe one is shown in the film "Super Bitch" also known as Blue Movie Blackmail staring Stephanie Beecham.

It is easy to remove the film to a normal reel drill through the rivit connections break open the cassette snip the film to unthread then carefully rewind to a reel this takes some skill but is quite simple to do.

Videotronic projectors are continuous loop. The Super 8 models are available on eBay, the Regular 8mm don’t come up very often. I have the Regular 8mm model that I put my own film on. I use it to project horror films on Halloween. It also has magnetic sound, the advertising reel that came with it has sound.

Hey Daniel, did you ever luck out with a new cam gear assembly for the projector? I just fired mine up after a complete restoration (but with the original cam gear assembly), and the metal shutter gear took off every tooth of the dang cam gear. It's so frustrating to have such a great projector that can't do anything! [Confused]

Is the system similar to the 8 track cassette which is a continuous loop, it turns the film through a figure of eight. Elmo and few others did them for there projectors in the 70's, used in the porn film industry to show "arty " films without having to change the reels .......
