Sold for people to cut up and use the individual frames to re-sell, or use in other projects it seems. I wonder how many of the "damaged" frames mentioned there are.
I quote the pitch for the sale and what they want people to think they can make from it :-
"The Back to the Future ride at Universal also used a 70mm film to produce the visual effects during the ride. There is a pair of BTTF 70mm frame cells (TWO CELLS/FRAMES) for sale (online) which is commanding $149.00 for just TWO CELLS as there were only a handful created."

Hoping for greedy a buy who thinks he can sell at that price?

12 Minutes x 60 seconds per minute x 24 frames per second = 17280

29995 divided by 17280 = $1.74 per frame ( $41.66 per second )

Make of that what you will.....
